I bought the last writing guide you had put out and it was pretty good. I must admit that your writing guides are always pretty good. I have put all of your resources to good use and it has landed me a nice amount of writing jobs. Better than what I was getting in the past. Is this like a version two or something?
Yeah I will admit that this writing guide is really good sara. Its a lot better than the other guide you had because it is a little more detailed as far as the websites and stuff you added in for submitting articles for money. I don't want to give the juice away on your writing guide, but i want to know if you will come out with an updated version
So what exactly is included in this version? I bought your last writing guide and it was pretty good, but that was about a year ago. I'm guessing this is the updated version you have been talkin about fill me in please. THanks
I'm awaiting the next edition too. The thing about writing guides is that they have to be updated on a regular basis, but sara's last ebook was so detailed that she really didn't need to update it. I guess this is just a tweak to the last writing guide.

Another one bites the dust...really helpful guide to freelance writers. Do you ever have problems with people trying to steal your work with your writing guides? I found one of mines on a torrent! I was pissed.
Do you have any suggestions for writing an e-book or guide? I have been thinking about writing an ebook guide for the longest relating to Internet marketing.
@Riza, one thing to do before writing an ebook is to research your topic in FULL! Don't just take a bunch of articles and gather them together from multiple sources. Check out what others are looking for and play upon that. Internet marketing is such a broad spectrum, just like writing is because you can cover so many subjects (articles, plr articles, technical writing, copywriting). If you're ebook is going to be very broad, make sure you state that in your sales page. Also, don't forget to do trial and error. Make sure your info is updated and not a bunch of old rehashed content. Good luck!
I really do see a need for freelance writing guides like this as I have had trouble getting my career started. The problem is, all of the writing jobs are for $3-$4 per article. I really can't make a living off of that! I find it deplorable that many writers fall into this trap. They then get comfortable writing for sites such as Associated Content that has now decreased their daily pay for articles to $2 per article! UGH
But, it is better to write your own articels and e-books and just market them like you are doing. The problem is, learning how to market your work online. As a matter of fact, I think I am going to purchase your freelance writing book! lol
@ last comment above this one- I totally agree with you. This is what kind of aspired me to write an ebook on this in the first place. About 2-5 years ago when I first got into the online writing industry, I was making only about $20 per day! I have a feeling this is the norm for Internet writers!
The problem is, people start thinking, if only I can write 50 articles per day, I could make $150 a day! THe problem is, after the 5th or 6th article, your mind starts to go numb and your fingers are close to bleeding! lol this is because to get paid to write articles online, you have got to find writing jobs that are worth your time! No writer should make less than $10 per article! Just think of all the research, time and effort is put into writing articles. This is the problem that I have with many content, publishing sites.
No one could make money writing for these low wages. When I say no one, I mean no one!
that is exactly why I don't write for those type of sites. I was writing for one site named, 'textbroker' that was an okay opportunity for someone who is out of work, but the pay was litle for the demands the clients were putting out. They want you to write in a certain format, research websites and use a certain amount of keywords. All of this for $3! It is ridiculous. The last time I checked, SEO articles went for like $10-$30 depending on the word count and topic.
@last poster- Yep, that is true. You have to think about the amount of effort that is put into these articles and come up with the conlusion that it is not fair! Writers sometimes get stuck at this level and don't want to expand because they are afraid of marketing themselves. What I hate the most about writing is the constant pressure to land that next writing job. Unless you already have connections or is working for $3 per article, you will need to actually not make this your full time job. I'm with the last poster, I might need to purchase this ebook. At the moment, I am only making about $70 a day with my freelance writing. I guess that beats nothing, but i would love to make over $1000 a day
